TMO collected crude sunflower oil offers on 28 April 2022

Turkish Grain Board (TMO) collected a crude sunflower oil offer on 28 April 2022 from import participants. The tender volume is 18mt from Mersin and Tekirdağ Ports and offers are between USD 2000-2100/mt.
Upon final confirmation, tender results will be released to the public. Traders indicate that supplies at Mersin Port in Turkey can also be offered. Shipment dates are predicted from 16 May to 16 June 2022.
According to local importers and exporters, a major part of offers will be given of Russian origin due to the disrupted supply chain in Ukraine. In addition to that, the Indonesian palm oil export ban will impact the vegetable oil market. With the current tender and the Indonesian palm oil export ban factor, the Turkish vegetable oil market will be reshaped again.
