China has officially announced that the COVID-19 epidemic restrictions ended, which means that the four months of lockdown in Chinese walnut production are over. Until now, Chinese walnut exporters transported goods to their storage and processing facilities illegally. Exporters can now buy larger quantities of produce from growers and transport them to major seaports for export. Turkish walnut importers anticipate that prices will decrease even further now that the supply issue has been resolved.
