Turkey Became the Second Largest Honey Producing Country in the World After China in 2022

Turkey produced 114K MT of honey in 2022 and became the 2nd largest honey producing country in the world after China. Around 10% of Turkey’s honey production is exported which amounted to around 13.9K MT of liquid honey in 2022 to the value of USD 31.8M. The top export destination for Turkish liquid honey was the US with an export volume of 5.8K MT and value of USD 11.6M. Israel was another popular export destination with exports of 813MT which generated USD 1.8M in export revenue.
