Turkey's wheat flour exports have reached 2,000 kmt in 2020. Iraq is the top export destination for Turkish flour companies, followed by Yemen. Additionally, South American markets such as Angola and Venezuela are important export destinations for flour from Turkey.
Turkey's wheat production has increased by 8% in 2020 with 20,500 kmt of production. Around 16.8 kmt of the production was common wheat whereas 3.7 kmt of durum wheat was also produced in the country in 2020.
