Turkish Grain Board Announced Tender to Import Common Wheat and Crude Sunflower Oil

Turkish Grain Board (TMO) opened a tender for the import of 790K MT of common wheat and 48K MT of crude sunflower oil. The bids for the wheat import tender will be collected until February 28. The delivery of the first batch of 395K MT is expected to be made between 8 March and 7 April. In this party, TMO plans to receive 50K MT of deliveries to Iskenderun, Mersin, Izmir, Tekirdag, Bandırma, Derince, and Samsun ports, 25K MT to Karasu port, and 20K MT to Trabzon port. The delivery of the second batch of 395K MT will take place between April 10 and May 10. In this delivery, the same port distribution in the first batch will be in effect.

TMO will collect bids for the 48K MT sunflower oil import tender until February 24. In this tender, it is planned that the first batch of 24K MT will be delivered between 13 March and 13 April. For deliveries, a volume of 18K MT was allocated to the ports of İskenderun and Mersin, and a capacity of 6K MT to the port of Tekirdağ. The same ports and the same volumes will be valid for the second-party delivery planned to be made between April 14 and May 14.
