Turkish pomegranates arrived to Russia infested with pests

Turkish pomegranates, which arrived at the seaport of Tuapse (Russia), were infested with pests. According to the results of Phyto-quarantine control, in three batches of pomegranates with a total weight of 30MT, the Mediterranean fruit flies were found. Due to the contamination, the import of this cargo was prohibited.
