The new agreement between Chile and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) favors the export of Chilean nuts, among other agricultural, forestry, and livestock products. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) plans to eliminate tariffs for more than 7,500 products, including 1,300 from the agricultural, forestry, and livestock sectors, especially benefiting walnuts. This agreement improves Chilean competitiveness in a demanding market, strengthens its presence in the UAE, and diversifies the country's export matrix.
