Despite the initially lower-than-expected forecast for Peruvian blueberries in the 2023/24 season due to the El Niño phenomenon, the production volume in the fields along the Peruvian coast has increased since W48 due to favorable weather conditions. Consequently, during W51, a substantial volume of blueberries was exported to Europe, which serves as the primary market for Peruvian blueberry suppliers. This volume surpassed earlier expectations for this point in the season.
