New Regulations for Egyptian Imports

Since the launch of the new customs system in September 2021, Egyptian importers have to have pre-shipment approval from the authorities before any process of shipping goods to Egypt, called ACIDs. ACIDs now require another pre-approval from the Egyptian Ministry of Trade on the imported products to comply with the new foreign payment regulations.
