Uruguayan Citrus Producers Report a Volume Production Drop of 10% During W21

Initial estimates of citrus production in Uruguay showed a 30% production decrease due to the droughts caused by La Niña. In W21, Uruguayan producers have updated the production decreased volume to 10% on the YoY comparison due to hydric conditions improvements in the citrus production areas. In Brazil, the early-season Uruguayan mandarines entered the market during W21.
