Vietnamese shrimp exports to China and Hong Kong experienced a continued decline, reaching USD 52 million in Nov-23. The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) assessment indicates that the market demand has been unstable, showing positive growth for three months from Jun-23 to Aug-23 and returning to a downward trend in Sep-23, Oct-23, and Nov-23. As of Nov-23, shrimp exports to this market amounted to USD 569 million, an 8% year-over-year (YoY) decrease.
