Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports have surged by 38% to $749.7 million in the first two months, with expectations to reach $7 billion this year. This growth is supported by strong global demand, particularly from China, following a phytosanitary agreement. Key exports include durian, expected to bring in $3.5 billion, and other fruits like dragon fruit and mango. The sector's expansion is further boosted by plans to export additional products like medicinal herbs and coconuts to China, building on last year's significant export turnover increase.
