The new season for Vietnam's ocean tuna, which commenced on Dec-23 and extends until the middle of 2024, has begun with varying catch sizes ranging from 30 to 90 fish per ship. Despite being early in the season, the yield is relatively high. However, the price for the fish is currently around USD 4.51 per kilogram (VND 110,000/kg), falling short of fishermen's expectations. In previous seasons, fish prices could reach USD 6.15/kg (VND 150,000/kg).
