The purchasing price of fresh mangosteen in Eastern Thailand decreased significantly from USD 4.35/kg in W21 to USD 1.45/kg in W22 due to the collaboration of Chinese Exporters and Thai Middlemen to drive down the prices while selling prices of fresh mangosteen remained high at USD 5.86/kg in the Chinese market.
