Water supply is important for general agriculture industry

The agriculture industry in Portugal has boosted so much in these last years, especially in the Alentejo and Algarve region with olive, almond, and avocados which are new crops. However, as the crop harvest cannot be done smoothly without sufficient water supply, during winter and spring the producers will set the moto regarding the water supply, considering what could be expected from the rest of the year.
