Norwegian Fresh Salmon Prices Dropped 2.54% WoW While Export Volume Dropped 20% WoW in W18

During W18, the price of Norwegian fresh salmon HON (3-6 KG FCA Oslo) decreased by approximately 2.54% WoW to USD 10.54/kg, and export volume decreased by 20% WoW to 3,456MT. However, over the past five weeks, the export volume increased by 4%, which is equivalent to 3,066MT more than the same period in 2022. The decline in both price and export volume could be due to a drop in consumption or demand for the product, which is typical during summer.
