Price Decrease of Grains and Cereals in Spain

W34 experienced a general drop in the price of grains and cereals in the Leon market in Spain. However, the price drops were not as severe as predicted by the international stock markets based on the agreement between Russia and Ukraine to allow the exporting of grains and cereals through the Black Sea. The continued difficulty of getting products out of Ukraine together with the extreme temperatures that the European continent is suffering have limited the supply of grains and cereals, keeping prices elevated. The winter grain harvest in the province of León is at an advanced stage with only a small volume of wheat and rye in the higher altitude areas still awaiting harvest.
