The wholesale price of fresh salmon in Italy has slightly increased in W30, with the average price rising to around USD 11.73 per kilogram (kg) from USD 11.41/kg in W29, marking a 3% week-on-week (WoW) increase. This price hike can be due to seasonal factors and a modest rise in demand. Despite stability in previous weeks, factors such as product availability, weather conditions impacting fishing and aquaculture, and transportation and logistics costs have influenced this week's price adjustment.
