Zucchini and Eggplant prices increase 4 times during the pandemic

Prices of zucchini and eggplant have increased sin march. During the first two weeks of March, there was a 50% increase, and as of July 10th, there was a 4 fold increase. Prices for eggplant in supermarkets are at around €2.27, and €1.40 for zucchini.

This price trend is explained by the changes in demand, but also by the cost associated with the supply chain for both products.
