Japan reduced imports of virgin olive oil from Italy

December 2020 trade data exposed a rapid year-on-year increase in virgin olive oil exports from Italy to the majority of its top importers including the US, Germany, and Switzerland. However, the value of Italian virgin olive oil imported by Japan became the only one that decayed with an 8.43% deterioration record in 2020 compared to 2019.
