German coffee exports to Russia declines while its re-exports to Europe thrive

Russia is the key importer of coffee from Germany. German coffee exports to Russia have been slowing down since 2018, after trending upwards for three years prior. This is in line with the trend seen in the total exports of coffee to Russia which has also been dropping. On the contrary, German coffee exports worldwide have risen in 2020 and the country was proven to be re-exporting coffee from developing countries to the rest of Europe.
