Frozen Octopus Prices Drop In Seoul on Typical Seasonal Demand Wane

Wholesale prices of long-arm octopus in Seoul, South Korea, dropped during the week starting March 27, 2023 by 12% week-over-week, 44% month-over-month and 31% year-over- year to a fresh 12-week low of KRW 13,867/kg, as demand wanes after the Lunar New Year Holiday. Prices will likely continue their downward trend until summer.
