Iran starts exporting more peanuts to Pakistan to fulfill growing demand

Pakistan is the primary importer of peanuts from Iran. Prior to 2020, most of the local production of peanuts in Iran was for local consumption. However, a rise in the demand for peanuts in Pakistan caused Iran to step up and export its local production of the commodity to Pakistan. China and Mozambique's market share in the Pakistani peanut space has also increased, supporting the notion that the local demand for the commodity has grown.
