Low Stocks and a Fall in Production Drive India's Coriander Seed Prices

Coriander Seed prices in India have almost doubled over the past year. The wholesale price for the commodity in Rajasthan, one of the leading coriander producing states in India, reached USD1.45/kg in W3 April 2022, a 94% surge YoY. Depleted old-crop stocks at the end of March 2022 and lower coriander seed production in the current season have been supporting wholesale prices over the last two months.
