Vietnamese Coffee Price Increases per High Demand in the Global Market

Vietnamese coffee prices increased by 19.73% YoY to USD 1.95/kg in W2 Aug-22. Global coffee consumption is projected to increase by 3.3% YoY to 170.3 million bags in MY 2021/22. Brazil, a key player in the coffee export market, experienced a mild setback led the price of Brazilian coffee price increase significantly made buyers seek alternative coffee markets. Vietnamese coffee price is cheaper than Brazilian coffee has an opportunity to increase coffee sales.
