Dried Common Bean Prices in Brazil Increase by 49% WoW Due to Harvest Delay

The wholesale price of dried common beans in Brazil increased since the first week of December 2022. The price stood at USD 0.73/kg in W1 Dec-22 and has continued to hike to USD 1.74/kg in W3 Dec-22. This reflects a 49% WoW higher than in the previous week. Delayed planting and reduced plantation area are driving prices higher.
