Maize wholesale prices in Argentina dropped by 35.02% YoY to USD 0.18/kg in Jan-24. The projected surge in maize production for the 2023/24 season is expected to pressure prices. In addition, Argentina's maize exports increased 44.56% in Q3-23, making it the third-largest global maize exporter.
