Flaxseed Price in Poland Escelates

Polish flaxseed wholesale price escalated by +35.45% YoY. The price stood at USD 1.37 per kg W2 February 2022, which was USD 1.02 per kg in 2021. Kazakshtan, which is the main supplier of flaxseed to Poland, experienced low production due to abnormal weather. This affected the Polish flaxseed import value from Kazkhstan increased by 91.5% YoY from January - October 2021. In contrast, the competitor market, Russia increased production can be alternative for Polish flaxseed supply to reduce the high price.
