Price Index of Mangosteen in China and Thailand Surge in 2021

The price index of Chinese mangosteen increased 5.7% WoW and 23.6% MoM in W5 November 2021. Meanwhile, Thai mangosteen inclined 87.8% MoM in October 2021. China has to rely on imported mangosteen due to the limited domestic production. China and Thailand have implemented favorable policies that further encourage the Thai mangosteen supplied to China. As the result, the price index of mangosteen in China and Thailand soar.
