Supply Shortage Raises Pineapple Prices in China and India

The wholesale pineapple prices in China (Handan, Hebei) increased by +13.12% YoY while India (Malappuram, Kerala) increased by +12.22% YoY. Both countries are expected to experience a decline in production this year, so the price could be much higher than last year, given the high demand for pineapples both locally and globally.
