An unexpected heatwave in Egypt, causing a significant difference in daily temperature range, affected fresh fruit and vegetable production in Egypt, particularly in Cairo and Upper Egypt. This caused a 19.04% WoW price decline to USD 0.17/kg in W2 of April 2023.
