Low Sugar Production, Affecting Exports and Prices in Brazil and Mexico

Sugar price has soared in the Brazilian wholesale market by +41.99%YoY to 0.57 USD/KG in W3 September 2021. Meanwhile, sugar prices in the Mexican wholesale market fell by -14.21%YoY to 0.78 USD/KG in the same period. The dry weather in both countries causes low sugar production which affects the exports and the price changes.
