Australian Macadamia Prices Drop on Harvest Pressure, Competition from South Africa

Macadamia prices in Australia dropped 5% MoM as of the second week of August, to USD 29.31/kg for macadamia kernels. Prices are under harvest pressure as the Southern Hemisphere harvest wraps up. Competition from South Africa has further pressured prices down, as South African macadamias gained market share in China's imports when compared to last year.
