Potato Prices in Egypt Rise 38% MoM on Intense European Demand

In July, the monthly average wholesale price for potatoes in Egypt surged by 38% compared to the previous month, reaching USD 0.26/kg. The end of the harvest season typically leads to price increases, but this year, the intense export volumes to the EU during the first six months resulted in even higher prices.
