Tilapia Prices in Brazil Climb 9% WoW in July's Second Week. Upside Seems Limited

During the week starting July 10, 2023, wholesale tilapia prices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, rose by 9.1% week-over week to BRL 12/kg, a fresh 6-week high. Moving forward, however, upside seems limited as global costs continue to decline and overseas seafood demand from the main purchasers of Brazilian tilapia remains relatively subdued.
