Turkish whole chili pepper prices rise amid strong inflation

Wholesale prices for dried chili pepper in Turkey rose by 8.69% YoY. The price for the spice reached USD0.88/kg at the end of W8 2022 versus USD0.81/kg. Soaring inflation, which underpins production costs, together with firm export demand for the spice keep prices high.
