Chickpea Prices Falling in the First Half of 2021

Chickpea prices had been still soaring until October 2020 at 0.46 USD per pound. However, the decline occurred right in the first quarter of 2021 and continued to plummet further until June 2021. Meanwhile, the total imports of chickpeas to the US in 2021 also showed a lower level than last year. This significant decline in prices will most likely affect the trading market in the next second half of 2021.
