Wholesale rice prices in Vietnam plunged to USD0.38/kg in W3 Feb-22, down 25.5% YoY. The downtrend prevailed on the market during the whole reported period, with the most significant decreases observed in June and December 2021. Weak domestic and export demand caused rice glut on the national market, which put pressure on prices.
