The Polish skimmed milk powder (SMP) has been falling for three weeks now owing to increasing milk production numbers which have been available for churning into SMP.
The SMP price benchmark dropped from $3.82/kg three weeks ago to 2.59/kg today. Milk production in Poland has continued to rise in each month of 2023 when compared to last year.
Supplies of milk for dairy commodity continues to flow which may keep prices on the downside even through the summer months.
