Vietnamese cinnamon is considered the most aromatic cinnamon and has the highest concentration of essential oils on the market. Vietnamese cinnamon/cassia (or Cinnamomum loureirii) has been planted in Vietnam for over 100 years. The cinnamon tree is planted in the mountainous regions of Central and Northern Vietnam with humid climates and hilly terrain. The total production area is 150,000 ha and the average export quantity is 60,000MT. With its high oil concentrate, Vietnamese cinnamon was often used as herbal medicine. Now it is commonly used to add warmth and depth of flavor to processed foods, baked goods, and beverages as a ground spice. Vietnamese cinnamon is cultivated mainly in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai provinces. Our suppliers have processing plants in the material region. The goods are purchased directly from farmers in Yen Bai and processed in ISO/HACCP factory.
