The company group Agricolae Ltd. was founded in 1998. The purpose of the foundation was to promote the fruit, vegetable, and walnut export of the region Szatmár and its surroundings in the possibly shortest way. At present, it is a family enterprise dealing with the wholesale trade of fruits and vegetables. A further aim of the company is to coordinate and organize the activity of fruit and vegetable producers in the Szatmár region and its surroundings, just as to ensure the safe marketing of their products.
Fruits that we both buy-in and produce cover: sweet cherry, sour cherry, plum, apple, pear, quince, apricot, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, sloe, black and red currant, walnuts (with or without shell).
The above-mentioned fruits are sold in both Hungarian and export markets as raw foods or processed with or without preservatives. In order to improve the competitiveness of our company and the quality of our products we continuously make efforts to renew and modernize our factory.
The company group Agricolae Ltd. has set up as objective to cover consumer’s demand at the maximum level and to distribute healthy and tasty fruits at a reasonable price, thus to become a modern, European enterprise of the 21st century.
Processed and preserved product palette of the company offers now the retail size packaged jams of the trademark ‘Szatmár Íze – The taste of Szatmár’, that was continuously introduced to the consumers’ market in 2014. This regional flavor, just as the traditional appearance of the product has become acknowledged soon by both our sales partners and – which is the most important – by our consumers as well. We do our best to introduce this traditional Hungarian, healthy fruity product group in both Hungarian and external markets, that is protected by brands ‘Hungarian Product’ and ‘Home Product’ since August 2014.
