Anchor Foods Limited

- A limited liability company registered in Uganda. Its headquarters are in Kampala with a Liaison office in Iganga district.
- The company was created out of a real need for more players in the Fresh food exports out of Uganda. This required an organized exporter in agro-processed foodstuffs, fresh fruits and vegetables including okra, bullet chillies, hot pepper, eggplant, groundnuts, matooke, maize, yam, apple bananas, Gunda, passion fruits, sugarcane, raw mangoes, sweet potatoes, Karella, avocado and beans.
- Started by organizing smallholder farmers into a Co-operative Society in Iganga District. This society has been bulking and selling to various exporters dealing in all the items mentioned.
- The company is upscaling to achieve up to 10,000 smallholder farmers.
- Focused on increasing its coverage with a countrywide presence, we now have farmers in Eastern, Western and Central parts of the country. Districts covered include Buikwe, Jinja, Luuka, Mayuge, Kaberamaido, Iganga, Namutumba, Bugiri, Mbarara, Kyotera, Lwengo and Mpigi 1.
