Avisco

The first regional business and one of the top ten businesses nationwide is Avisco, with a turnover of more over 40 million euros. Around 200,000 heads are shipped for slaughter each week at the plant in Rivolta d'Adda, province of Cremona, where more than 120 skilled workers are employed.

The business, which has been granted EEC recognition (I 015 M/S), runs under a HACCP self-control system, ensuring that the products it sells meet high requirements for quality and freshness. Again, for purposes of birth, breeding, feeding, and processing of the sold clothing, all production must absolutely be of national origin.
