Five brothers of the Nagpal family founded KASHMIR WALNUT GROUP (previously Kashmir Walnut Trading Company) in 1979 with the goal of becoming known around the world as a reliable source of walnuts. In the Jammu region of J&K, the company began its local business by trading walnuts, and in 1981 it gradually and steadily began to export. Mr.D.K. Nagpal significantly helped take exports to the next level. The five brothers quickly recognized their potential as a quality provider on the international market while working as a team. Reliability, promptness, and constant quality bore fruit.
With production reaching 3000 tons, the Group is currently the largest processor and exporter of conventional and organic walnuts, accounting for about 30% of all Indian exports. The Group is also India's largest packer and supplier of walnut kernels, with Tim Tim Walnut Kernels as its flagship brand.
