In 1885 the company Wilhelm Weuthen GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Schwalmtal-Waldniel.
Our trading activities include domestic and international trading of processed potatoes, processed potatoes and onions. Our trading activities also include the sale of agricultural resources such as pesticides and seeds.
With its headquarters in the heart of the lower Rhine potato-growing region, the company focused on potatoes early on. Today we are a competent service provider for the European potato industry. Europe offers the largest potato raw material pool for all types of applications. We guarantee year-round supply to European processors, trading houses and packaging companies.
Our current contract farming includes around 1,500 farmers and is managed at his eight processing and sorting stations in the potato growing regions of Rhine and Westphalia. Our storage capacity is approx. 80,000 tons. In flats, boxes and cold stores.
