Mira Wigensberg and Oren Kessler established the farm in 1986 as an independent "habitat" for edible forest mushrooms. They also developed precise and scientific methods for growing the mushrooms in controlled temperatures, humidity, and light. The farm has developed a reputation as the most reputable professional agency in Israel for growing specialized mushrooms thanks to these methods, which it uses with both agricultural growers and chefs. Later, more unique mushrooms and unique vegetables—new "guests" on the Israeli market—were added to the product line, resulting in increased interest and demand for a wider range of innovations.
Since then, Hava has worked hard to expand its product line and offer Israelis a variety of unique flavors that meet the highest standards and meet the growing demand of our customers for natural and healthy food.
Our products, which come from both nearby and faraway places, include: various types of fresh and dried mushrooms, fresh ginger, endive (chicory), moist and dried tomatoes, real limes, shallots, fresh turmeric root, fresh Brussels sprouts, super corn Sweet, and numerous other items
At the farm, we refer to our products as "our treasures" because each one undergoes rigorous selection and testing to ensure that they meet our high standards for quality, health, and, of course, flavor.
