Torrcaffè has always used the wood-fired roasting method to
guarantee the highest quality standards using a completely
artisan process. It is a delicate phase which requires great skill:
every single bean is roasted evenly through precise roasting
times to preserve its full flavour and bold aroma.
The wood used is a prized combination of black oak and white beech from the forests of the Apennines, all locally sourced and environmentally-friendly because is a source of renewable energy. Furthemore our focus on sustainability starts with company choices, such as our photovoltaic and solar thermal system installed at the factory, getting rid of single-use plastic
and our choice of recyclable packaging and compostable capsules.
We guarantee care and respect in every phase of production for a product that, from plant to cup, follows a process whose main goal is the health of the environment, while fully complying with international standards that require the use of natural fertilisers and ban pesticides and chemicals. Our coffee is grown in complete harmony with nature and is packaged with materials that make it easier to recycle, with control over the entire supply chain.
