Summary
-The winery in Bacharach has existed for over 180 years. Peter Jost shaped the company for over 40 years and consistently developed it. Under him, the winery was included in the Association of German Prädikatsweingüter (VDP) on the Middle Rhine and in the Rheingau in the mid-1980s.
-Currently cultivating 15 hectares on both sides of the Rhine: on the right bank of the Rhine in the Rheingau and on the left bank of the Middle Rhine Valley around Bacharach.
-In the Rheingau, the loess loam soil with a slight to significant proportion of Taunus quartzite characterizes the wines and gives them flavor and fullness.
