SokoFresh is a company on a mission to unlock economic empowerment for rural communities relying on agriculture.

Since 2019, SokoFresh has been at the forefront of solving the critical challenges of poor post-harvest handling of perishable produce and unstructured market access for farmers in Kenya.

Our solutions for smallholder farmers drastically reduce post-harvest loss from highs of 40% to under 5% by leveraging solar-powered cold rooms. We also streamline the off-take of produce, unlocking on average a 20% higher income per kg for participating farmers and instant payment of their produce sales.
