Chungsan Fishermen's Organization

Established in 1995 on Cheongsando Island, Wando County, Chungsan Sea is a cooperative producer devoted to showcasing the excellence of Korean abalones. Beginning with a direct cultivation facility on Cheongsando Island and collaborating with 14 abalone farmers, we initiated exports to Japan in 2005. Since then, we have diversified our export destinations to include the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. Recognized for our diverse product range, we achieved top abalone export status, surpassing $10 million in 2012. Acknowledged by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries as a leading Korean abalone exporter, we obtained ASC certification, introducing international-standard production systems. Pioneering initiatives like blockchain-based distribution records exemplify our commitment to innovation. With the 'Incheon Export Logistics Exclusive Center' established in 2021, our four-member export team consistently exceeds a 10% annual export performance, solidifying our position as leaders in the global abalone industry.
